Description 

Show us your example applications and solutions in the area of robotics. It is time for the ROBOTIC CHALLENGE 4.0. 

Till 23rd of October 2016, we are looking for application examples of robots in the industrial production and installation area. Show us, what your robot is already capable to do, which further examples you know or which visions you have regarding the future of robots. Here, we are especially interested in examples and solutions in the area of human robot collaboration, thus examples of working together between humans and robots in the industry. 

What we are looking for 

The focus lies on examples or projects and their solutions for the robotics applications in the area of industry, primarily in the context of Industrie 4.0. A short video (max. 90 seconds) showing your robot in action would be ideal. Alternatively, documentation can be done by uploading pictures, sketches, renderings, etc. 

Furthermore, we would like to know the following: 
 • In which environment can or could the robot be used? 
 • Which specific advantages and disadvantages arise? 
 • What makes your robot special? 

Requirements for the participation and the process 

Every interested person can take part in the ROBOTIC CHALLENGE 4.0 and submit their ideas on www.hyvecrowd.net. Therefore, participants need to register on the website. The video integration itself is done via YouTube. Only an upload of a 90 second video to your YouTube account is needed and the link can be integrated to your post. The organizer of the video challenge maintains the right to exclude non-suitable videos and posts.

Please note that in this challenge no rights are transferred to HYVE. This means that all rights on the idea stay with the originator of the idea. 

Minimum requirements for the film

 • Length: 20 – 60 seconds 
 • Mobile and tablet videos are permitted 
 • Only music free of licence 
 • It is permitted to work in a group on the video 
 • Third-party rights are not infringed 
 • If people are seen in the video their agreement is declared 

Once the contest has finished, all contributions are evaluated by a top-level jury that consists of experts across industry, technology and science. The best contributions will be awarded in an event which will take place in the Deutsche Museum on the 8th of November.

Next to awarding the best ideas, an audience award for the video with the most likes will be handed out. More details are found among prizes.
